I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Transformational Coach who uses a holistic approach to healing the body. I was lead into the field of food science after experiencing years of intense gastrointestinal pains, which later was diagnosed as Irritable Bowel syndrome, or IBS. Not wanting to rely on pharmaceuticals alone, I decided to address the lack of proper nutrition, and need for stress management in my life as a way to heal. After successfully managing IBS through lifestyle change, I left my career in the field of sales, returned to school and eventually joined the clinical health field as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Having traveled to Central America, Europe and the Caribbean, I knew there were other forms of healing in the world. I decided to continue my healing journey through further researching how cultures around the world approach healing. I discovered the importance of addressing the mind, body and soul of the person through healthy rituals and connection to one’s culture. I then acquired a certificate in Transformational Leadership where I learned the importance of cultivating an understanding of the Indigenous Wisdom of one’s ancestry to support a deeper sense of purpose and the health of the soul.

My goal as a Transformational Coach and RDN is to bring a mind-shift in the understanding of health and wellness, and creates an environment for my clients to experience true holistic healing.

One-on-one coaching and group classes are used to support the health and wellness of my clients. Tools used in my practice include, but are not limited to, medical nutrition therapy, meditation techniques. Indigenous Wisdom practices are also offered to support clients in their transformational healing process.

My education background includes a BS in Dietetics (food science), BA in Communication Studies, and a certificate in Transformational Leadership and Energy Medicine. In addition to being a Transformational Coach at Center Seven, I practice my love for wellness in the various community programs as a gestational diabetes, diabetes and prediabetes educator, a preschool health coach, and a public speaker.
